ESOC Precise vs DEOS Fast-delivery Orbit Comparison

Fast-delivery ERS-2 orbits are computed by the Delft Institute for Earth-Oriented Space Research (DEOS) at TU Delft, based on SLR and fast-deliveery altimeter crossovers and normal points. These orbits are generated with a latency of about a week and are retrieved by ESOC from CDDIS automatically. The radial accuracy of this orbit is claimed to be ?-? cm. Further info on the DEOS fast-delivery orbits is available on the ERS pages of the DEOS Website.

The following plot shows the along-track, cross-track and radial components of the comparison between the DEOS fast-delivery orbit and the ESOC precise orbit.
