The antenna is mounted on a concrete pillar at ground level, within the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Dubai.

The site is managed by EIAST (Emirates Institution for Advanced Science and Technology)

A joint collaboration between EIAST and ESA/ESOC was established in September 2014.
