An internal (non-public) ESOC Navigation Support Office GNSS station.
Location
The antenna is mounted on a concrete pillar at ground level, within the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Dubai.
The site is managed by EIAST (Emirates Institution for Advanced Science and Technology)
A joint collaboration between EIAST and ESA/ESOC was established in September 2014.
DUBA is the first EGON station to be installed in the Arabian Peninsula.
Equipment
In March 2015 a Septentrio PolaRx4 receiver was installed together with a Septentrio Chokering MC antenna.
In August 2020 the equipment was upgraded to a Septentrio PolarRx5 receiver and a Septentrio PolaNt Chokering B3/E6 antenna

In 2020, the trees directly surrounding the antenna were cut in order to restore the expected clear horizon.
